How to Apply

The following contains all the information you need to submit an application for one of the Dunmoochin Foundation’s residencies. For more information on the foundation itself, our amenities and what our residencies offer, please visit our ‘About us’ page.

Who can submit an application

Residencies are available for artists, musicians, performing artists, writers or researchers in the fields of environmental studies or art history.

How we review applications

Directors of the Dunmoochin Foundation review applications for residency shortly before studios / residences become available.

Successful applicants will be notified by the Dunmoochin Foundation by e-mail or by surface mail. Unsuccessful applications will be held for twelve months. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email if another studio / residency becomes available.

The Dunmoochin property is protected by a conservation covenant, which means that collection of firewood from Dunmoochin Foundation land is prohibited. Natural wildlife is abundant throughout the area, so dogs, cats and other domestic pets aren’t allowed on Dunmoochin Foundation properties.

Successful applicants are required to sign a residential tenancy lease agreement. Please note that rentals are charged for the residential spaces. The foundation’s studios are rented separately to the residential spaces.
